Software Engineer Roles & Responsibilities

As a member of a squad team, the Software Engineer is tasked with developing robust solutions for workflow automation and data generation, operating across both on-premise and cloud environments.

The Software Engineer collaborates closely with the Product Owner and Project/Squad Leader to gain a thorough understanding of product objectives and the development roadmap. This partnership ensures alignment and prioritization of development tasks to successfully achieve project goals.

This role requires complete ownership and responsibility for the entire software development life cycle. Key activities include:

• Writing maintainable and efficient code
• Participating in code reviews and offering constructive feedback to peers
• Conducting component and integration testing
• Identifying pain points and areas for improvement to enhance product maintainability and services
• Supporting post-release software maintenance and enhancement
• Creating documentation and guides
• Supporting Hybrid working – at least 3 days in Noida Office

Contributing to knowledge sharing is essential, achieved through thorough documentation and conducting internal training sessions.

The Software Engineer also analyzes current processes and proposes enhancements to increase efficiency through automation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience with C#
• More than 5 years of experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit/integration testing techniques, as well as interaction with Front End Frameworks such as TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS
• Mandatory experience with WPF, Windows/Web Services, and Desktop/Distributed Applications
• Over 5 years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle Database or similar, including performing queries to support and replicate investigations in production
• Strong understanding of principles for writing code that is readable, maintainable, and extendable
• Knowledge of DevSecOps, with familiarity in Git, GitLab CI, and code quality practices
• Demonstrated initiative in identifying problems and applying systematic solutions; proven problem-solving skills
• More than 2 years of experience automating software validation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bonus: Experience in developing and implementing validation strategies, test plans, and best practices
