Role: Senior IT OPS Engineer

Job summary:
The IT OPS Engineer role is focused on improving software solutions and/or components by assisting in resolving technical issues with customers including answering customer questions, helping them troubleshoot technical challenges (via emails, calls, etc), and ensuring their products work as intended. Throughout the day, she/he might also file reports, perform testing activities, learn about product updates, and manage customer orders to support customers and co-workers.
Mission:
- Providing customers with software solutions support via desktop solutions, chat functions, emails, and calls.
- Troubleshooting software solutions issues by asking customers targeted questions.
- Providing customers with step-by-step guidance to resolve technical problems.
- Following up on technical queries and providing prompt feedback.
- Prioritizing customer queries and escalating serious technical issues to software solutions developers.
- Testing corrections or application improvements
- Documenting error reports and monitoring performance metrics.
- Relaying application functionality feedback from customers to software solutions developers.
- Compiling IT instruction manuals and useful software solutions support resources.
Skills:
- Knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools, e.g., Polarion ALM)
- Good knowledge Linux, bash
- Good knowledge of Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Artifactory, K8S, Grafana
- CI/CD: GitLab CI pipeline configuration and integration, JIRA
- Good knowledge of GCP / Azure Cloud technologies
- Terraform, Network troubleshooting
- Apache
- Agile methods: Scrum / Kanban
