Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual and Automation Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with developers and clients.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, create, and execute test cases for functional, regression, sanity, and smoke testing.
- Perform mobile and web application testing for Android and iOS platforms
- Log, track, and manage defects.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Conduct integration and API testing to ensure seamless system interactions.
- Execute performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues, improving overall software quality.
- Optimize test coverage to minimize post-release defects.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance within regulated or high-reliability domains such as aviation, UTM, or similar platforms.
QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (preferred)
- Functional, Regression, Sanity, and Smoke Testing
- Integration Testing
- Mobile Application Testing (Android & iOS)
- API Testing
- Defect Management and tracking
- Test planning, execution, and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Test automation experience
- Performance and load testing knowledge
- Ability to work with databases for test data validation
- API Testing experience
- Mobile App Testing (Android & iOS)
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Ensure both your own safety and the safety of others at all times.
- Maintain an active role in achieving the objectives and adhering to the HSE Thales Policy
- Comply with local HSE laws and legislation.
- To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
- Lead by example and actively encourage departments to look at ways to conserve water & energy, minimise the generation of waste, and encourage recycling.
