Our Thales Netherlands IS/IT team works at the core of the Thales digital transformation. It is positioned between our IS/IT and business departments. With a team of 150+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 3500 Dutch colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. We also work closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales Group.  About your future job
 As the Product Owner for the Network & Hosting squad you are part of the IS/IT Foundational domain and your teams provide the foundation for the IT endpoint- and application teams, as well as providing the IT connections with Thales Group and others. You work together to maintain, improve and deliver secure networking & hosting services. Do you find it interesting to work on the cutting edge between Foundational IT, the full IT value stream and business? Working with multidisciplinary teams of enthusiastic and driven professionals and improving our processes? Then we are looking for you!
 
The squads operate independently and are responsible for all Network & Hosting activities supporting Thales Netherlands and its employees. Your contribution to the squad:

• Work closely together with stakeholders and understand their use cases and functional requirements.
• Create a clear roadmap that is sustainable and aligned with the business.
• Create and manage a well-defined backlog for the team that has a balance between availability, lifecycle, security, customer project needs and automation/innovation.
• Pursue optimal performance and availability through continuous improvement.
• Work closely together with other IS/IT teams and suppliers to manage dependencies and learn from each other.
• Work closely together with the Team Lead and Product Manager to order the right hard-and software, in time and on budget.
• Create synergy between the products and standardize as much as possible.

 
 Why you'd be a good match:

• You have general knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Network & Hosting).
• You have a higher education degree (Bachelor or Master).
• You have proven experience as a Product or Service Owner in a large organization (Professional Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus).
• You talk on different levels within the organization and have proven experience with stakeholder management.
• You pursue transparency & predictability.
• You empower the team and drive clarity, commitment & accountability from and towards the team, but also your stakeholders.
• You have excellent analytical skills and are able to see the bigger picture.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch & English.
