Together, we’re shaping the future by enabling customers to make pivotal decisions that safeguard communities and power progress.We are seeking a collaborative and diligent individual with a passion for infrastructure to work as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer within our global NOC. The NOC is a 24x7x365 follow-the-sun monitoring and response team responsible for the overall health and operational success of our cloud infrastructure. This function plays a key role in our commitment to customer success.
As a NOC Engineer, you will apply networking and operational knowledge to respond to and remediate alerts from network equipment and related systems across our global datacenters. You will work daytime hours, including weekend and holiday shift rotations, in our Singapore office, responding in real-time to alerts and events, and taking an active part in incident management. At times, you will also participate in projects that directly impact the reliability and performance of the Thales network.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Actively engage in incident response: triage and remediation
Follow standard operating procedures while recommending improvements based on experience and observations
Serve as a point of escalation for critical customer issues
Contribute to improving Imperva's global network performance and stability
Build and maintain technical knowledge as you develop expertise
Train and mentor new NOC engineers
Assist on long-term projects and operational issues as needed
Analyze operational data to produce reports and insights on network performance
Demonstrate willingness to grow in knowledge and span of responsibility
Minimum Qualifications:
Networking certification such as CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent
Background in Linux scripting is an advantage
Working knowledge of internet routing (BGP)
Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, HTTP/S, and DNS
Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting languages
Ability to collaborate effectively and meet deadlines in time-sensitive situations
Ability to stay organized in a multitasking environment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with monitoring tools or systems (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK, Pingdom, etc.)

Working Location: Suntec City
Working Days: 5 Days a week (Inclusive of weekends & PH)
Working Hours: 6.30am – 3.30pm or 7.30am-4.30pm
