OUR TEAM

This role is part of our corporate team, a central hub for Thales Australia. It’s where our shared services – think finance, legal, HR, procurement – come together to make sure all teams across Australia have access to the business services they need. Cross-functional collaboration helps us build out Thales’ capabilities – and helps us open up new career opportunities for employees all across the business.

YOUR ROLE

• Lead a national network of security and facilities teams, overseeing key services such as reception, cleaning, catering, waste and guarding

• Deliver capital works programs and manage facilities activities, including maintenance, repairs and refurbishments

• Manage budgets, business cases, and contracts to support effective and efficient service delivery

• Ensure compliance with policies and legislation through audits, risk management and control assurance

• Manage incidents and investigations, including response, resolution and business continuity planning

• Drive stakeholder engagement, training and a strong security culture across all sites

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Experience in security and/or facilities/property management within complex environments

• Qualifications or experience across investigations, security controls, facilities management, project delivery, or business administration

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver clear reports and presentations

• Proactive and adaptable self-starter, able to respond to changing business needs

• Effective communication and influencing skills across a range of stakeholders

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
