As a mobile security expert in Thales Cybersecurity and Digital Identity, a leader in cybersecurity, you will gain international exposure and have the possibility to work with teams from different geographical locations (i.e. France, India, Singapore, United States). Being amongst various cybersecurity experts, you will be exposed to different challenges, gaining knowledge and building further expertise from working with cybersecurity experts coming from various domains. In addition, you will be able to make use of your expertise to influence and define the mobile cybersecurity ecosystem.

Roles and responsibilities:
•Penetration testing and reverse engineering on mobile applications
•Provide technical risk analysis, threat identification and countermeasure recommendations to business
•Provide guidance in secure design of products and features
•Security research on new threats, technologies and tools (including AI based security tools)
•Keeping abreast of new threats and vulnerabilities to mobile applications and the industry to provide proactive solutions
•Define and promote the official internal mobile security process for mobile teams
•Train mobile teams on security

Technical Requirements:
•Experience in penetration testing of mobile applications (Android, iOS). Understanding of the attack paths on mobile applications
•Experience on threat modelling, architecture review, vulnerability management
• Knowledge of common OS exploits and mobile security threats: Jailbreaking/Rooting/Flashing a device, custom kernels, custom ROMs, hooking frameworks
•Knowledge of classic attacking techniques: data cloning, reverse engineering, traffic interception, hooking, debugging (using tools like gdb, Burp suite, Substrate, Frida, Ghidra, IDA Pro…)
•Basic knowledge on applied cryptography
•Interest in learning or knowing about non-mobile platforms security (Windows, MacOS, Linux)
•Interest and understanding of low-level aspects of operating systems (syscalls, processes, daemons, virtual memory, kernel extensions, etc.)
•Interest and understanding of leveraging AI-based tools and techniques to enhance mobile penetration testing, security assessment processes or security conformance verification
•Programming languages: Python, Shell script, Java, Kotlin, C/C++, ARM/INTEL assembly, Objective-C, Swift.
