OUR TEAM

Our Munitions teams in Benalla and Mulwala produce propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment into research and development, we produce some of the world’s most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems. And being at the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry gives our teams constant opportunities to build on their technical expertise.

YOUR ROLE

• Conduct routine, complex and dynamic testing using chemical and instrumental analysis

• Lead, train and support team members performing analytical testing

• Supervise and mentor staff during test, trial and dynamic test activities

• Apply and improve Quality Control processes

• Maintain safe work practices and equipment standards

• Act as ISO/IEC 17025 signatory when required

YOUR EXPERIENCE

• Degree qualified in a relevant field or equivalent experience 

• In-depth knowledge of laboratory calibrations, standardization procedures, and quality control techniques 

• Explosive License (Unsupervised Handling)

• Availability to work site based

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
