The purpose of this position is to support the Industrial Centre of Competence (ICC). They guarantee the ICC contractual Commitments are met as well as Customer satisfaction. The Industrial Logistics Operator is versatile in the field of logistics in charge of warehousing, handling, distribution and shipping of parts, components, materials and subassemblies.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Industrial Logistics Operator you are accountable for:
- Manage and handle parts, components, materials and subassemblies in the warehouse to supply the production, integration, repair and replacement
- Validate inventory information
- Perform warehouse acceptance and physical and logical incoming and outgoing operations, and formally record those operations in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Managing the packaging based on predefined rules Distribution
- Provide for the internal distribution and transport of semi-finished products, finished products, subassemblies, components, consumables, tools
- Manage the warehouse for finished products and spare parts for customer support (Inward and Outward transactions, inventories)
- Process customer (internal and external) delivery routings consistent with contract requirements, delivery times, accompanying documents, including the import and export of inventory to ensure compliance with the applicable national and foreign export and re-export regulations
- Ensure that transport operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage shipment for customers (internal and external) and ensure that shipments proceed smoothly (customs process, transport logistics, Incoterm, cost optimisation) and coordinate and supervise delivery of the items to the customer
- Manage the Logistics companies delivering and collecting from site
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Must have a Forklift licence
- Basic knowledge of Production and Repair processes
- Basic knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes
- Knowledge of industrial management control and the Multi Year Budget (MYB) process
- Knowledge of inventory management and flow management methodologies
- Implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Gemba Walks, Compass Room, Plan, Do Check, Act (PDCA)
- Practice of analytical and problem-solving techniques (PDCA)
- Knowledge of industrial/supply chain IT system & use of dashboards (analysis, decision support)
GOOD TO KNOW
Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks. Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance.

The U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
