We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic End User Support Analyst / System Administrator to join a close knit, supportive and passionate team at our key production and manufacturing site at Thales in Bendigo. The role will play a crucial role in providing End User Support & System Administration Support (Level 1.5 - L2 support). Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a minimum of a Baseline security clearance to meet defence industry requirements.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an End User Support Analyst, you are accountable for:
- Comply with and assist in the enforcement of Thales Security Policies and Procedures
- Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, framework and work practices to ensure safe working practises.
- Providing onsite and remote Level 1.5 and level 2 support across network, server, desktop hardware, mobile devices, software and peripheral devices, including proprietary applications.
- Provide user support via the ServiceNow ticketing system, as well as direct contact by email,
- Accurately log, monitor and track service requests & incidents using Service Desk Management tool ServiceNow.
- Assist to identify Problems through the analysis of Incidents.
- Assist in the development and maintaining of the Knowledge Base.
- Sound understanding of Desktop support Windows 11
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and all Office Applications
- Installing, upgrading and supporting desktop operating systems and application software
- Supporting and maintaining desktops, mobile phones and related technology.
- Fulfilment and deployment of new or replacement hardware components, desktop and technology hardware and software components
KEY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with in Information Technology
- Ability to maintain and promote a positive outlook and attitude to team and customers
- Experience with MS Windows server administration
- Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
- Knowledge of MS Exchange
- Understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience in implementing automation and monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a demonstrated customer service commitment and the ability to prioritise competing demand
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated and self-directed with a high attention to detail
- Excellent Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to travel between Thales sites as required
GOOD TO KNOW
Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks. Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain NV1 security clearance.
