The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.We are looking for a Technical leader to develop platform SW for our next generation Avionics systems.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and hands-on development expertise in device driver development, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), and safety-critical software processes. This role involves guiding a development team, ensuring adherence to DO-178C standards, and driving the successful delivery of certification-ready software components.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience (8-12 years) in embedded software development using C language.
- Strong knowledge of device driver development and hardware interfaces (e.g., ARINC-429, Flash memory, Ethernet, PCI etc.).
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (e.g., VxWorks, FreeRTOS, ThreadX) and multitasking concepts.
- Hands-on experience of DO-178C certification processes, artifacts, and objectives.
- Understanding of safety-critical software design practices and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, integration, and maintenance of embedded software components for Avionics computers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team to ensure high-quality and efficient software delivery.
- Implement and optimize device drivers and middleware layers on RTOS-based systems.
- Conduct and lead design & code reviews to ensure compliance with DO-178C standards.
- Collaborate closely with safety, hardware, and system engineering teams to meet certification and project objectives.
