Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) the Sr. FP&A Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that shape the company’s strategy. This is a hands-on, high‑visibility role that offers significant ownership, cross-functional partnership, and the chance to drive meaningful improvements across the business. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes; improve planning accuracy, cadence, and controls
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic planning and resource allocation
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, financial models, and scenario analyses to inform key business decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to provide data-driven insights, performance reporting, and financial guidance
  • Monitor monthly revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics; clearly communicate variance drivers to stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver financial presentations for the Board of Directors, executive leadership, and company-wide communications
  • Work closely with Accounting and Analytics teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting
  • Own and enhance FP&A systems, tools, and processes to elevate accuracy, scalability, and productivity
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering analytical rigor and continuous improvement
  • Support ad hoc projects and additional responsibilities as needed

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Strategy, or related field
  • 8+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, equity research, or similar experience; prior people-management experience in a high-growth or fast-paced environment preferred
  • Experience as a people leader or a team lead with proven ability to mentor and coach
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and how accounting impacts financial models and forecasts
  • ERP implementation experience, ideally Microsoft Dynamics
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proven ability to collaborate across levels and functions
  • Highly organized with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capability
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate with urgency when required
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Sound judgment, discretion with confidential information, and a hands-on, proactive working style
  • U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
