Terran Orbital is seeking a Program Analyst to serve as an entry-level member of the Program Management Office (PMO) with a specific focus on supporting proposal baselining activities. Reporting to the VP of Program Management, the Program Analyst will provide coordination, documentation, and analytical support across both proposal development and program execution.

This role supports the PMO in ensuring proposals are well-organized, compliant, and prepared for internal reviews, while gaining exposure to core program management and proposal lifecycle disciplines. It is designed as a development pipeline for future Program Managers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule proposal-related meetings, integration reviews, gate reviews, and executive briefings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture detailed notes, and track proposal and program action items to closure.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing cross-functional inputs for proposal packages, including schedules, cost elements, assumptions, and risk items.
  • Maintain proposal and program documentation repositories ensuring version control, traceability, and accessibility.
  • Support preparation of internal proposal gate reviews by formatting slides, compiling data, and ensuring required materials are complete.
  • Help draft and maintain basic proposal artifacts such as assumptions logs, checklists, risk summaries, and schedules under guidance from senior PMO staff.
  • Track proposal and program risks, issues, and deliverables, ensuring timely follow-up with responsible owners.
  • Assist Program Managers with updating internal program status reports, risk registers, and execution dashboards.
  • Support development and maintenance of standardized PMO templates, tools, and reporting formats aligned with the Terran program execution framework.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to gain exposure to engineering, supply chain, business development, and program execution processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field, or currently in progress.
  • 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, internships, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with scheduling or project management tools is a plus.
  • High attention to detail, especially in documentation and version control.
  • Interest in learning proposal development, government contracting workflows, and program management principles.
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Internship or academic exposure to aerospace, defense, engineering, or government contracting.
  • Familiarity with basic project planning concepts (cost, schedule, risk, critical path).
  • Interest in aerospace systems, satellite programs, or operational execution environments.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
