About the Role

We are seeking an Automation Tester with strong expertise in Python scripting, C++ unit testing, code coverage analysis, and manual testing. The ideal candidate will design and execute automation frameworks, perform code coverage analysis, and ensure quality across web, backend, and mobile applications. Exposure to cybersecurity testing and mobile app testing will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Python.
• Write and execute unit tests in C++ to validate core modules.
• Perform code coverage analysis to ensure robust test coverage.
• Execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify defects early and improve testability.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Document test strategies, plans, and results for traceability and compliance.
• Support web, backend, and mobile application testing efforts.
• Ensure adherence to quality engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in software testing (automation + manual).
• Strong experience in Python scripting for automation frameworks.
• Hands-on expertise in C++ and unit testing in C++ (e.g., using Google Test, CppUnit, or similar).
• Experience with code coverage tools and test reporting.
• Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and defect management.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cybersecurity testing (vulnerabilities, secure coding validation).
• Experience in mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

• Proactive and eager to adopt new testing tools and practices.
