This is an entry level Industrial Security Specialist I position within a Special Program environment. The selected candidate will learn how to develop, execute, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.  You must have excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, writing skills, and professional image as well as refined teaming skills and understanding of team concepts. You will be a  multi-tasker who is a 

Self-starter and requires minimal supervision. Your  attention to detail and follow-through when completing tasks is imperative to your success as is your ability to plan, schedule, and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives.

This position will require an existing Top Secret Security Level and SSBI/PR within 6 years

What You Will Do

  • Process a high volume of Program Access Requests (PARs)  
  • Manage program personnel database 
  • Provide security guidance regarding program operations 
  • Conduct briefings and debriefings 
  • Conduct administrative tasks to include parcel checks, alarm testing, visit certifications, and track reporting of foreign travel and adverse information to Government customers 
  • Assist with implementing Security Education and Media Control Plan 
  • Develop a full understanding of 5220.22-M NISPOM, 5205.07 DoD Manual, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related Industrial Security Guidance Manuals or Special Program Security directives 
  • Support COMSEC tasks  
  • Participate in a team environment to develop, update, and implement security policies and procedures in coordination with the company policies and government regulations  
  • Support Government Inspections and program self-inspections
  • Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment  
  • Willing to travel on company business  
  • Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with all levels of Raytheon employees 
  • Good interpersonal skills and a professional image 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all access as required by the programs. 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and DoD Manuals 
  • Security related certification and training courses 
  • Experience with SIMS and DISS databases 
  • Working knowledge of Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG)

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
