Raytheon is seeking a Pre-Award, Principal Specialist with preferred program or project management experience. In this position, you will be the manager of all proposal activities following FAR-15. You will require exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as you lead a cross-functional team responsible for providing material quotes to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
This opportunity is with the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area, Product Support sub-mission area of Raytheon. In this role you will be the Pre-Award Program Manager for the DLA Spares Program, responsible for $20 million in Bookings of the Program’s Annual Operating Plan. You will report to the Program Manager for the DLA Spares Program that is Raytheon’s consumable material supplier to the Defense Logistics Agency for all Raytheon Systems.
**This is onsite position at our Louisville, KY.

What You Will Do:
- Responsible for business growth (Bookings).
- Responsible for contractual monthly quote-output goals as established with DLA.
- Managing a cross-functional team directly supporting material proposals and Program growth.
- Responsible for managing the workflow of proposal activities and prioritizes and orchestrates output based upon Program and Customer priorities.
- Coordinates and maintains regular internal and external communication between Raytheon OEMs and the Customer.
- Maintaining positive Customer relationships through frequent communication/engagements and providing documented performance statistics.
- Establishing and maintaining positive Raytheon OEM Program relationships and familiarity to support platform material requirements.
- Represent Raytheon to the Customer as required.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Prior experience with program/project management
- Prior experience leading and or managing
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Demonstrated Project Management or PMP certification.
- Experience supporting Government Proposals and material pricing.
- Familiarity of the Defense Logistics Agency and associated acquisition processes and procedures.
- Experience working cross-Business relationships and alignments focused on meeting Govt Customer requirements.
- Basis of Estimates Writer certification.
- Customer service oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point, Excel and Project).

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
