The OneRTX Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP’s S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform, BTP, to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition, design, blueprinting and are entering the build and support phases.
What You Will Do
This role is the authoritative owner of SAP UX governance across S/4HANA and SAP Build Work Zone landscapes. The SAP Fiori UX Lead is responsible for defining, enforcing, and evolving enterprise-wide UX standards rooted in the SAP Fiori Design Guidelines, while ensuring scalable, consistent user experiences across standard Fiori apps, custom UI5 applications, and federated content surfaced through SAP Build Work Zone.
This is not a general UX leadership role. Success requires hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Design Guidelines, Launchpad architecture, and Work Zone, combined with the ability to partner with SAP functional, technical, and platform teams to drive alignment and compliance at scale. This is also not a development role, the successful candidate will have a strong UX background including design thinking, user research, UX governance and UI prototyping.
SAP Fiori UX Governance
Serve as the UX authority for SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
Operationalize SAP Fiori Design Guidelines including floor plans, navigation patterns, responsiveness and accessibility.
Establish UX guardrails for custom UI5 and Fiori Elements apps.
Review and approve UX designs prior to build and release.
SAP Build Work Zone Ownership
Own UX strategy and governance for SAP Build Work Zone, Advanced.
Define and enforce Information Architecture standards across SAP Fiori and SAP Build Work Zone, including navigation structure, business-role alignment, naming conventions, and app organization.
Partner with platform, security and basis teams to align UX with roles and lifecycle management.
Prevent portal sprawl through clear governance.
Cross-Functional SAP Leadership
Act as UX counterpart to SAP architects, developers and functional leads.
Translate SAP technical constraints into UX guidance.
Educate stakeholders on SAP Fiori Design Guidelines and UX best practices.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience with UX governance of SAP Fiori apps in S/4HANA.
Applied knowledge of SAP Fiori Design Guidelines or the new SAP Design System.
Experience with Launchpad concepts (spaces, pages, catalogs).
Experience with SAP Build Work Zone.
Proven UX governance experience in SAP landscapes.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Figma libraries aligned to SAP Fiori.
Experience mapping Figma components to Fiori and Fiori Elements.
Familiarity with enterprise design systems and SAP theming (Horizon).
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery models.
Experience running Design Thinking workshops and User Research.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
