RTX ES Data is seeking an Associate Director, Program Management that will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of various programs within ES Data, ensuring alignment with customer and program objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management principles, and the ability to drive strategic outcomes while managing resources efficiently.
What You Will Do:
- Plan, monitor, and oversee program execution and interdependencies.
- Manage funding/budget, identify and address issues and risks, and align deliverables with program outcomes.
- Provide consistent reporting updates on Confluence, Planview, and other defined reporting methods.
- Recommend and utilize digital tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Planview) to increase transparency and communication.
- Translate customer needs (e.g., SLT) into team goals.
- Drive meeting cadence, prioritize tasks, manage agendas, meeting notes, and action items.
- Maintain RACIs at the program/project level and inter-BU/ES Data if applicable.
- Update staffing and budget, manage 10K, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes.
- Ensure all assigned team members understand project requirements, time allocations, and timelines.
- Manage resources and third-party consultants throughout project duration.
- Prioritize and manage change, assess impacts, communicate with SLT and stakeholders, and align on project plan, funding, and risk mitigation.
- Act as a team champion, advocating for both the work and the team, ensuring success and driving value.
- Plan and coordinate strategic conversations with teams and senior stakeholders.
- Communicate progress to key program leads, external stakeholders, and senior leadership, providing transparency against scope (budget & deliverables).
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
Extensive experience in program/project management within the aerospace and defense industry
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and project work streams.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and third-party consultants.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Planview).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage risks, and drive strategic outcomes.
- Understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
