About the Team:
About the Role:
As a Global Supply Manager, Propulsion, youâll work closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Planning, and more to design and scale both existing and novel supply chains in the design and development of complex components that create a competitive advantage for the enterprise.
- Lead sourcing and supplier management for propulsion ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are achieved.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies, including supplier selection, long-term agreements, and capacity planning to support Terran-R build schedules.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to influence design for manufacturability and align procurement with program milestones.
- Drive supplier performance through rigorous risk management, contract negotiations, and milestone-based tracking.
- Mentor and support GSMs and GSSs on the team, building expertise in aerospace manufacturing processes and supplier development.
- Act as a thought leader for propulsion commodities, continuously improving sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness.
About You:
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or engineering.
- Demonstrated experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes such as machining, forming, welding, and assembly.
Nice to haves but not required:
- MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
- Direct experience managing engine commodities in aerospace (turbomachinery, thrust chambers, CNC machined parts, forgings, castings, additive manufacturing, etc.).
- Familiarity with AS9100 and NADCAP standards, supplier qualifications, and audit processes.
- Proven success driving supplier performance improvements through KPIs, recovery plans, and long-term agreements.
- Strong understanding of aerospace raw materials (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, Cu-Ni-Sn alloys) and associated processing methods.
- New Product Development (NPD) or Introduction (NPI) supply chain experience, preferably within aerospace or frontier technology industries.
- Proficiency in supplier risk assessment, cost modeling, and capacity planning.
