About the Role
Our software organization is growing and we are looking for talented students to join our Technical Program Manager (TPM) as part of the Pathfinders Internship Program.
As a Pathfinder, you will gain meaningful work experience while applying the knowledge and skills you have gained in the classroom. You will have the opportunity to make connections with interns and employees across the company and to make a quantifiable impact on one of our teams.
We hire students at the undergraduate and graduate levels for roles lasting 12, 14, or 16 weeks.
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help Nuro deliver complex and strategic multi-functional software engineering projects.
About the Work
- Act as the internal “glue” by communicating and coordinating across all teams, including software and hardware engineering, product, operations, and business, to drive multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives related to remote monitoring and operation.
- Lead technical reviews, synthesize results, and build plans to resolve product issues.
- Develop requirements, define timelines/milestones, identify/mitigate risks, allocate resources, track progress, resolve dependencies, unblock progress, etc.
- Regularly communicate progress to company leadership and program partners.
About You
- You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering, and/or equivalent technical experience/aptitude, graduating August 2026 - 2027.
- You are passionate about becoming a technical program and/or project manager and about gaining experience bringing complex software products to market.
- You collaborate well with others and take pride in helping teams succeed.
- You are keenly discerning with an ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent tasks.
- You have the DNA to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment .
- You have a real passion for helping drive the delivery of creative products leveraging AI, robotics and/or machine learning.
Bonus Points
- Prior experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or safety-critical applications.
For this position, the reasonably expected base is $8,000. Your actual base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills.
