Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to serve as the Integration and Test lead in support a program out of our Fairfax, VA location.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will lead I&T implementation while performing the following tasks:

• Defining test framework using automated testing

• Running weekly customer facing TEMs to discuss system testing.

• Leading the development of automated integration/end to end testing in the program CICD Pipeline

Basic Qualifications:

• Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD with 3 years of experience.

• Active TS/SCI clearance or have an active TS with SCI eligibility.

• Experience with scripting and doing verification test planning.

• Experience with developing/maintaining an Integration and Test Plan.

• Experience with different automated testing approaches.

• Experience with developing new automated tests.

• Experience with interaction within a devsecops construct.

• Experience with brand new development programs.

• Experience and understanding with agile systems engineering.

• Willingness to learn with CAMEO, Gitlab, Python, and Linux.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working level knowledge of Cameo, Gitlab, Python, and Linux

• Experience with Mission 1.

• General knowledge of Ground SW Systems and ground segment architecture.

• Familiarity with other areas of Systems Engineering such as Requirements & Verification.

• Willingness to support any Phase 2 Proposal I&T needs.

• Experience working a proposal effort or accelerated schedule program.

Primary Level Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
