Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Air Vehicle Systems Integrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.
As an Senior Principal Air Vehicle Systems Integrator, you will be responsible for Level I and Level II system alpha test efforts and will lead subsystem integration efforts, and ensure readiness for system-level testing. You will lead subsystem integration efforts and ensure readiness for system-level testing.
Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and refine test procedures based on Level I and Level II system requirements
- Lead subsystem integration efforts, evaluate hardware and software changes prior to alpha testing
- Utilize test infrastructure to dry run and execute system level verification, providing immediate feedback on software and hardware build candidates.
- Serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs and act as an advisor to management and customers on technical subjects.
- Support Systems engineering to develop Verification Cross Reference Matrices
- Support Test Equipment Checkout and System Integration
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related professional/military experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, prior to the commencement of employment.
Demonstrated experience in in test program execution. (I.e. developing test procedures, implementing technical edits and successfully executing test protocols, etc.)
Experience performing system integration and/or subsystem integration for hardware/software systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Active Program Access
- Experience supporting Test Execution as First Line Troubleshooter
- Air Vehicle Experience
