Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector is looking for an Integration Project Manager to work on-site to support the Marine Systems business unit in Sunnyvale, CA.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Integration Project Manager to lead and manage all aspects of integration between SSTG Production with both internal and external customers. The Integration Project Manager will help establish/enforce new reporting methods to help align the program with executive leadership expectations. This role will require excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple dynamic production portfolios. As this is primarily a production program leadership position, the candidate must reside in the work location area and be able to work from the Sunnyvale Campus 5 days per week.
You will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between program management and operations execution including planning/scheduling teams, project teams, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers, line managers, and clients.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Project Management experience, OR Master's degree OR High School Diploma/ equivalent (GED) and at least 6 years of relevant job experience.
Proven ability to manage complex administrative tasks across multiple product lines
Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills involving working collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrating respect and support for colleagues
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must be familiar with audit support and able to provide comprehensive explanations of processes an ensuring compliance to standards.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
US citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient with Microsoft Project.
Active Secret clearance.
Previous Project Management and Logistics experience.
