Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal Financial Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance for the Strike Division. The position will be located on-site in Melbourne, FL, Palmdale, CA, or El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Support the month-end closing process by preparing and reviewing/approving journal entries done by Accounting team members in addition to reviewing account reconciliations.
Support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation.
Assist in management of program financials, including: financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, profitability analysis, and working capital analysis (accounts receivable forecasting, treasury forecasting, unbilled analysis, and aged receivables
Support the development of presentations for and occasionally brief to Division leadership.
Assist in development of the consolidated Strike Division's Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
Work with the finance and business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related fields OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related fields.
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, and/or industry related fields OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience in business administration, finance, accounting, financial analysis, or industry related fields.
Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
Experience with SAP, Hyperion Planning software (or another similar software), database software.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Expertise in financial analysis.
CPA License.
Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS.

Primary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $141,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $176,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
