This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL.
The Manager Industrial Security 2 will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment., which will include the following responsibilities:
Role Responsibilities:
Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of the leadership characteristics that are expected of all employees within the organization in a high intensity, fast paced environment.
Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations.
Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies.
Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials.
Develop and implement security education program.
Oversee internal security audits.
Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Provide direction to security team members to assist with the execution of their statement of work.
Assist with team members' professional development and growth.
Ensure employee engagement and collaboration across teams within the Security organization.
Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels.
Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program enterprise.
Ensure all program performance objectives as well as key milestones and deliverables are met.
Manage a security budget within an established target.
Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions, Physical Security, COMSEC, Investigations, and Document Control Management

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR Master’s Degree AND 4+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience OR High School Diploma AND 10+ years of experience in Security within the Aircraft, Aerospace, Manufacturing Industries or Military related experience
Minimum of 2 Years of management, supervisor, or other demonstrated leadership experience
Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance that is in-scope Granted or renewed in the last 5 years and the ability to obtain special program access
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to perform and manage diverse and dispersed security programs and teams across multiple disciplines (entire program security spectrum), to include Program/industrial Security, Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) duties, Information/Cyber Security, COMSEC, Physical Security, Personnel Security, International Security
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers
Knowledge and experience with ICD 705 construction and accreditation processes
Demonstrated experience in development of complex security plans and proposal writing
Experience and direct participation (working group and/or leadership positions) with Government/Industry Security Organizations (ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS, etc.)
Proven experience in planning and managing staffing and hiring processes for large teams, to include partnerships with HR, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and program management leadership
Excellent communication, writing and organization skills, enabling effective communications with team members, fellow employees and government officials
Ability to work in a team environment with minimal oversight.
