This position is located in Palmdale, CA, San Diego, CA or El Segundo, CA.
Engineering Integration Director will be responsible for ensuring capability development incorporates critical information from all specialty areas and operational needs so that designs are suitable, effective, and fieldable. The Engineering Integration Director will align engineering plans to increase speed of delivery and ensure that capabilities have appropriate maturity and quality before being handed over to receiving teams. This role will work to ensure developed capabilities can be fielded in common configurations, under Agile engineering principles. Develop strategies and processes for rapid integration and capability delivery.
Primary Duties include:
- Ensure specialty requirements, maintenance and operational needs are addressed in development plans.
- Align integration and fielding plans to increase speed and quality. Ensure the hardware and software integration will be conducted to Agile principles and support field needs.
- Provide engineering oversight and support on Program Reviews and process improvement initiatives (RCCA investigations, BRRs, FRRs, TRRs)
- Act as a strategic partner on the senior leadership team and work closely with Programs and Chief Engineers to accomplish long term objectives.
- Foster Leadership development, communication and collaboration within engineering teams
- Development and execution of product innovations, process improvements and affordability strategies.
- Creates strategies and plans for rapid capability delivery.
The Selected Candidate must be willing to work any shift depending on the business needs.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 9 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in hardware/software/integration and delivery OR a Master of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 7 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in hardware/software/integration and delivery.
- Must have at least 10 years leadership/management experience.
- Proven record integrating high quality products and fielding those capabilities.
- Experience managing a budget and cost schedule; budgetary experience can include program management (P&L), project management, Control Account Manager (CAM), comptroller experience, or equivalent positions.
- Current, active DoD Top Secret clearance within 4 years of last investigation / adjudication or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Special Program Access (SAP)
- Master’s Degree in Technical Field (STEM) or Business Administration.
- Proven record of developing & implementing plans and processes to deliver capabilities and products.
- Engineering leadership experience across multiple phases and platforms including design, integration, test, production, and operations.
- Leadership experience of large teams.
