Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Vandenberg Integration Site (VSFB) is looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer Level 2 to join our team. As a team member of the engineering, integration, test, and launch operations team, the Electrical Engineer will support and manage various aspects of the assembly, integration, test, and launch activities of multiple Northrop Grumman Launch Vehicle Programs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Support development and production programs at VSFB site.
Hands-on electrical integration and test of flight hardware; operating and maintaining electronic or electro-mechanical components, circuits or systems.
Create, edit, review, and maintain test procedures utilized during integration & test and launch pad operations for correctness and completeness against mission requirements, launch vehicle configuration, and component changes and modifications.
Lead testing and/or evaluation/validation of electrical systems
Troubleshoot, document, and disposition flight and test equipment hardware and software discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions
Support maintenance and upgrading of Electrical Ground Support Equipment and its associated network equipment.
Perform launch vehicle avionics hardware & software system and subsystem level integration, test and launch operations.
Coordinate and lead Electrical Technicians performing functions supporting activities such as, integration, test, checkout, operation, and maintenance of complex electronic flight, ground testing and launching systems.
Coordinate and perform testing with customer, MDA, and site range and safety personnel

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering +2 years of related experience; Master of Science in Engineering + 0 years of experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance.
Basic electrical testing and diagnostic experience.
Basic knowledge and understanding of test equipment set up/use such as DMMs, Digital Signal Acquisition systems, Oscilloscopes, etc.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret DoD clearance
BS in Electrical or Systems Engineering
Knowledge and experience with computer networking and troubleshooting
Knowledge and experience with advanced programming/plotting tools such as MATLAB and/or Python
Experience leading/training other engineers and/or team members
Familiarity with Northrop Grumman tools and processes
Experience with aerospace standards/guidelines
Experience with integration and test of launch vehicles
