Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems located in Palmdale, CA has an immediate opening for a Associate Test Conductor/System Test Specialist with an IT background to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in our program center with the System Test Engineering team. This position is located in Palmdale, CA.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring tests serve mission objectives and mechanisms are in place to execute the tests safely and efficiently.
- Oversees the operational aspects of engineering tests and serves as liaison to program, engineering and production line management.
- Reviews status of test requirements, manages schedules of test executions, develops/updates/releases test procedures, and prepares test summary reports.
- Assesses anomalies, documents troubleshooting efforts, and develops resolutions in accordance with documented procedures in conjunction with Test and Quality Engineering.
- Position interfaces with design, analysis, and manufacturing functions to develop test data requirements, collect test data, and package for analysis.
The selected Candidate must be willing to work (Mon-Thurs) 2nd shift.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 4 years of related professional/military experience OR Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional / military experience
- Experience in test planning, execution and operations
- Experience in an aircraft flight line maintenance environment
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret clearance
- Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- Ability to read/understand engineering blueprints/drawings.
- Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days- a-week, and 365 days a year.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Test Engineer, Test Conductor/Director
- Active Program clearance
- Active Top Secret clearance
