Working Student in Propulsion Valve Development (m/f/d)

Job Description

Mission Brief

As Working Student in the Engine Valve team of the Propulsion department, you will support in designing valves, coordinating their assembly and testing, evaluating protocols and test results, and integrated engine test campaigns. You will collaborate closely with the product owner of the valves.

Your Role in Our Space Mission

  • Creating test and assembly data evaluation scripts
  • Creating drawings of valve components
  • Writing development plans and supervise the defined tests
  • Evaluating test data and assembly protocols
  • Evaluating non-conformances from tests and component production
  • Supporting specification and requirement management

Qualification Checklist

  • Enrolled student in Aerospace Engineering or comparable program
  • Hand-on experience with propulsion component design
  • Experience with test or manufacturing data evaluation
  • Experienced in drawing creation
  • Motivated, self-organized, and skilled in producing precise technical documents
  • Fostering open communication and mutual respect
  • Knowledge of programming languages, Python preferable
  • Fluent in English, German preferable

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of electric motor controls
  • Hand-on experience with propulsion component testing
