Why this role matters:

As a Team Leader, AIT Engineering, you’ll establish and lead the Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) engineering capability at ICEYE’s Athens site while remaining deeply involved in hands-on satellite integration and testing. You will help scale the site toward full satellite-level AIT operations, ensuring systems are integrated, verified, and delivered with the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your leadership will directly contribute to the successful production and deployment of ICEYE’s SAR satellites, strengthening our global constellation and advancing our mission to provide near real-time Earth observation intelligence.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AIT Engineering team in Athens while contributing directly to hands-on satellite integration and testing activities
• Integrate and test RF subsystems, antennas, avionics, electronic boards, and power systems into higher-level assemblies and satellite configurations
• Lead system-level verification and troubleshooting across RF, electronics, power, and software-hardware interfaces
• Support the ramp-up of satellite AIT capabilities in Greece by defining workflows, tooling requirements, test equipment, and integration best practices

Requirements

What we’re looking for

Must haves:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace, or a related field
• Strong technical background in RF systems, antennas, electronic boards, and RF testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience integrating and testing complex electronic or satellite subsystems
• Proven troubleshooting capability across electrical, RF, and software domains during integration and system testing

Nice to haves:

• Experience with satellite AIT, space hardware, or aerospace qualification campaigns
• Knowledge of environmental testing such as vibration, thermal vacuum, EMC, or anechoic RF testing
• Experience with configuration management processes, automated test setups, or production ramp-up environments
