Job information:
- Functional title - Global Client Assistant

- Report to – Client Experience Lead, Client Engagement
- Location – Hong Kong
The candidate will work within the Client Engagement (CE) team as a Global Client Assistant to support CE in their day-to-day client lifecycle. They will assist the global CE team, with a primary focus on APAC. The GCA will partner and collaborate with Client Managers servicing client tasks ensuring efficiency and effectiveness alongside high-quality standards. This role will focus on alleviating the routine and annual tasks required from Settlement Members and the wider client base being supported across a dynamic range of CLS products. Ensuring Client Managers are well supported with accurate, correct and up to date Client data will be essential via CLS’s Client relationship management tool (Gold-Vision). The role will further aid enhanced performance management via scheduled reporting, data collection and deck creation.
They will also play a key role in supporting the Hong Kong office, ensuring smooth operations are embedded across administrative duties. Close engagement with global workplace services will ensure all risks and controls are managed and mitigated. Additional support will be required through ad hoc projects and initiatives to optimise the office in keeping with CLS infrastructure standards.
What you will be doing:
Client Service
- Partner with Client Managers to efficiently onboard new clients across the suite of CLS products
- Provide regular MI across a range of pre-defined indicators, evolve MI landscape and propose continuous improvements
- Building out frequent client requests to standardize, improve and enhance client experience
- Effective management and escalation of new client prospects with client managers
- Manage FX Global Code Statement of Commitment (SoC) Requests to be published on the CLS Index
- Conduct 1stLOD checks on all new opportunities ensuring effective KYC/AML oversight
- Program manage pre-existing initiatives and pro-actively undertake new projects
- Knowledge and awareness of internal policies and procedures alongside building relationships across key departments inclusive of Product, Onboarding, FCC, Legal, Operations, Technology and Finance
- Differentiate client needs across the CLS ecosystem to drive enhanced service standards
- Develop the GCA brand within CE and become go to GCA to support all aspects of client delivery
- Support the Client Engagement team by responding to day-to-day client queries
- Work with Business Management to support the global client engagement effort as required
CRM management and Reporting
- Day-to-day management and oversight of Gold-Vision. Reviewing data to ensure global consistency and standards are met across:
- Accounts
- Opportunities
- Contacts
- Distribution lists
- Client campaigns
- Cleanse and maintain data quality to ensure accurate data and information
- Provide high quality reporting at scheduled and ad hoc intervals ensuring clear communication and analysis
- Plan, organize and resource key deliverables ensuring updating and evolving calendars
- Learn and understand Gold-Vision functionality to drive technology solutions and provide in depth output and analytics
- Document all standard and ad hoc processes, develop and improve workflows and drive change
What we’re looking for:
- Language skills essential – English and Cantonese (proficient written and verbal)
- Language skills desirable – Mandarin / Japanese
- Prior experience in financial markets useful. Understanding of FX an asset
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships
- Solid familiarisation with Excel and PowerPoint

Professional qualifications / certifications
