Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst/Project Manager with a strong background in Financial Services, Banking, or Financial Market Infrastructure to fill the Vice President, Archer Manager position. This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and managing projects that enhance our operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be leading the enterprise-wide implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform.

As the Vice President, Archer Manager, you act as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT, and Archer residents/administrators, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and delivered on time. This role participates in Archer change releases and projects, is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements and translating them into effective solutions within the Archer GRC platform. You will also be responsible for coordinating testing, providing training and delivering effective communication adhering to change management control protocols, and ensuring ongoing compliance with internal policies and regulatory expectations. You will play a critical role in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices within Archer GRC platform. Your expertise will guide teams in navigating complex challenges and achieving optimal outcomes.

In this role, you will also be tasked with mentoring and developing technical expertise within Enterprise Risk Management team. Collaboration and effective communication will be key as you work to align team objectives with Organization's Top Corporate Priorities.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage the overall Archer GRC Book of Work (BoW).
  • Lead BoW prioritization calls and provide accurate and timely information to senior management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document and prioritize Archer requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications for system configurations.
  • Support design, testing, and implementation of new modules or enhancements.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on risk management Archer GRC best practices
  • Establish governance processes for Archer data quality, access control, and change management.
  • Oversee platform upgrades, new module implementations, and vendor relationships.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to project teams, consultants, and administrators supporting Archer.
  • Drive user adoption through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Track and report on program performance, ensuring Archer delivers measurable business value.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to expand or optimize platform capabilities.
  • Provide Archer BAU support to users across the organization including creation of reports, dashboards and metrics to monitor risk trends and program effectiveness and making minor configurations to the platform, as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Mentor team members to enhance their professional development.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or IT governance.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of successful delivery
  • Experienced managing Archer GRC implementations or programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Archer platform capabilities (use cases, workflows, reporting, integrations).
  • Strong understanding of risk and control frameworks
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications preferred. Archer certification is a plus
