Job Summary:
As a Technical Recruiter, you will be part of a mission-driven Talent Acquisition team that is passionate about enabling Millennium Space Systems’ rapid growth and long-term success by bringing in the top aerospace and engineering talent to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand critical hiring needs, develop and execute sourcing strategies to build robust talent pipelines, and execute a flawless end-to-end recruitment process. Expertise in technical sourcing, structured assessments, candidate engagement, and market intelligence will be essential in identifying and attracting exceptional candidates. Our ideal candidate is both process and data oriented and also possesses exceptional relationship building skills and the ability to drive positive hiring outcomes with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
As a Technical Recruiter at Millennium Space Systems, you will have the opportunity to help develop a long-term people strategy for an industry-defining company in aerospace and defense.
This position's internal job code is Recruiter Specialist. Our team is currently hiring for a level 4.
Position Responsibilities:
Quickly develop a strong understanding of Millennium's Engineering organization, projects and critical hiring needs
Consistently build robust, high quality candidate pipelines for technical roles leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, targeted talent communities, your own professional network and other creative strategies
Partner closely with hiring managers to develop structured interview plans and candidate assessments, communicate insights throughout the hiring process, and manage candidate experience to drive positive hiring outcomes
Maintain accurate candidate and job related data in Workday and other recruitment systems
Drive data-oriented decision making throughout the entire hiring process
Effectively manage the candidate offer process and negotiate total compensation packages that maintain pay equity and organizational standards
Contribute to recruitment process improvements in service of increased efficiency, communication and positive hiring outcomes for the teams you support
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 10 or more years' related work experience
Recruiting experience in Aerospace Engineering and/or Manufacturing
Technical sourcing experience
Negotiation strategy experience
Experience using Workday, Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in creating and implementing structured interview plans and candidate assessments
Demonstrated success building strong partnerships with cross-functional partners and hiring teams
Excellent communication, interpersonal and candidate nurturing skills
Ability to consistently drive an efficient, equitable and data-oriented hiring process
In-depth knowledge of aerospace & defense industry and market trends
Working knowledge of CA state employment laws and regulations
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong analysis skills for researching, analyzing, developing, and leading the implementation of talent acquisition related programs and strategies
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in dealing proactively with all levels of internal and external management, vendor, or agency personnel
Continuous learning and growth mindset

Summary pay range: Level 4: $125,800 - $185,000
Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
