The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) Sapphire is looking for a dynamic Senior Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join the team in Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; El Segundo, CA; Houston, TX; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK; San Antonio, TX; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX; Seal Beach, CA; or Seattle, WA.
The selected candidate will plan and implement activities to prepare the BDS enterprise for the modernization of its foundational systems through the conversion to the three bedrock Sapphire system of systems, which includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and Product Data Management (PDM). This role is essential for ensuring a smooth transition and fostering a culture of adaptability and engagement across the organization.
Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) supports more than 100 product teams, as they enable Boeing business partner leaders to deliver our products and services to our customers. From building a better digital experience, to designing faster and more accurate manufacturing analytics, our products touch every aspect of our business. BDS is modernizing its foundational systems, enhancing its data strategies, and improving the alignment of its execution processes via a program called Sapphire that is a joint effort between BDS and IDT&S.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of stakeholder identification, analysis, and engagement strategies to drive awareness, commitment, and adoption across stakeholder groups who influence and/or are impacted by the modernization of the ERP, MOM, and PDM systems
Lead efforts to drive sponsor alignment and create strategic communications guidance - including approved messaging, templates, and artifacts – to ensure communications are clear, consistent, and aligned across all senders, receivers, and channels
Establish metrics and feedback loops to monitor and evaluate stakeholder engagement effectiveness in alignment with program and business readiness objectives, using real-time stakeholder sentiments and insights to adapt and refine strategies and plans
Partner with Business Readiness and Training leads to identify and activate change champion networks, equipping champions with toolkits, talking points, and coaching to effectively advocate for the change and influence adoption across the business
Translate complex business and technical changes into high-quality, user-friendly content and artifacts (e.g., email campaigns, briefings, FAQs, presentations, talking points, websites, infographics, etc.) that drive awareness
Plan, design, and facilitate workshops, forums, roadshows, listening sessions, etc., to bolster accountability and action among sponsors and stakeholders
Partner with corporate comms teams to ensure compliance with Boeing’s enterprise communications and branding policies, guidelines, and standards
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience with large scale change management and business transformation projects
10+ years of experience with stakeholder engagement, building coalitions and strategic alliances
10+ years of experience in facilitation, consulting, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level
5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications and/or a related field
5+ years of experience with visual storytelling
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with large-scale system implementations such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), and Product Data Management (PDM)
3+ years of experience within information technology
Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Formal training or certification in change management (e.g., CCMP, Prosci, or similar)
Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Summary pay range: $136,000 - $211,600
