Boeing Law and Global Compliance is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Senior Manager to lead and further evolve Boeing’s Ethics Ambassador Program—a mature and growing initiative currently spanning 17 sites and over 170 Ethics Ambassadors across the enterprise.  This role offers the opportunity to build on a strong and proven foundation by enhancing program depth, effectiveness, and long-term impact.  While the program has expanded significantly since its inception in 2021, future growth will be selective and strategic, grounded in business needs and localized risk assessment.

The Ethics and Compliance Sr. Manager will join the Localized Engagement team within the Ethics organization, reporting directly to the VP of Ethics, and will be responsible for sustaining and elevating the program’s effectiveness through focused enhancements, selective expansion, and thoughtful engagement strategies. In addition, this leader will have oversight responsibility for the Boeing Values Recognition Program which is an initiative launched across several key sites intended to help business leaders recognize and celebrate employees that have demonstrated commitment to the company’s Code of Conduct, Values, and Behaviors. Lastly, this leader will support strategic localized engagement efforts, in alignment with VP direction, which can include collaborating across Law & Global Compliance, with functional partners, and key stakeholders in the business to address emerging needs and mitigate compliance and ethical risks.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Build on the existing strong foundation of the Ethics Ambassador Program by deepening engagement and refining tools, training, and support for current ambassadors

  • Drive selective, strategic expansion of the program where it adds the most value, aligned with risk assessment and business needs

  • Design and manage an operating rhythm, training structure, and communications plan that ensure ambassadors are well-prepared, connected, and impactful

  • Analyze ethics insights, risk trends, and investigation metrics to identify emerging risks and tailor local engagement strategies

  • Partner closely with site stakeholders, functional leaders, and Ethics teammates to ensure program alignment, business relevance, and sustained support

  • Provide consistent guidance and coaching to ethics ambassadors, enabling them to confidently serve as ethical culture stewards

  • Provide oversight of the Values Recognition Program by monitoring implementation, assessing effectiveness, partnering with embedded program focals, and engaging Site Compliance & Ethics Officers as needed to strengthen consistency and outcomes

  • Serve as a focal point for selected outreach needs and sensitive employee situations, helping triage issues, coordinate support, and elevate matters as appropriate.

  • Lead or support special projects and strategic initiatives that cut across enterprise functions

  • Engage with the business on strategic and complex ethics matters, serving as trusted support to identify risks, offer practical guidance, and co-create solutions that uphold our Code of Conduct, Values and Behaviors

  • Lead with integrity, promoting a culture where employees are encouraged to speak up, heard when they do, and protected from retaliation

  • Promote ethics and compliance as an integrated business imperative—championing shared ownership of ethical culture across all levels

This position is expected to be 100% onsite with up to 40% travel expectations.

Ethics Ambassadors are employees who dedicate 10–20% of their time serving as trusted, local champions of Boeing’s ethical culture—supporting communication, training, and ethics- and compliance-related initiatives within their organizations. The Program is also intended to offer meaningful leadership development opportunities for Ambassadors.

Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, communications, engineering, or related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in ethics, compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of experience with project management

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams

  • 5+ years of experience engaging with senior leaders

  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams

  • Experience building trust and engaging with employees at all levels, ideally in a high-engagement or site-based role.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to influence and counsel leaders constructively.

  • Experience safeguarding sensitive or confidential information.

  • Willing able to travel up to 40% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience influencing without authority and building and leading high performing teams

  • Exposure to ethics and compliance industry best practices and techniques delivered in complex business environments to a multi-business/discipline workforce

  • Proven business acumen

  • Experience building strong relationships across all levels of the business, including first line, senior leaders and executives

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and coordinate stakeholders in support of strategic objectives

  • Experience triaging sensitive issues and exercising sound judgement in determining when to elevate matters

  • Skills in data, metrics and managing performance delivery; including managing to deadlines

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as compliance, risk management, communications, business administration, or a J.D. 

  • Relevant certification (e.g., CCEP, LPEC or CFE)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $136,000-$211,600
