We are looking for a resilient, high-energy, experienced Qualification and Verification Group Manager. The EVA Q&V Group Manager is the focal point for coordinating and executing the AxEVA Qualification Program and completing closure of Program verifications to enable AxEVA Certification and mission success. The Q&V manager will be part of the EVA SE&I leadership and apply management and systems engineering expertise by setting goals and organizing and delivering products through collaborative efforts.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Group Manager for Qualification and Verification is responsible for detailed planning, coordination, execution, and closure of system-wide and individual tests, analyses, inspections, and demonstrations needed to certify the AxEVA system. AxEVA Qualification is executed as a Program-wide priority and depends on close coordination and leadership skills crossing across AxEVA organizations as well as external NASA and commercial partners
Setting goal, vision, and framework for complex, human-safety critical integrated system testing and leading tiger teams from across the program and partner organizations to execute to the vision
Identifying and assessing system and integrated testing opportunities and advocating for optimal testing for the AxEVA system
Managing and tracking status for all verifications and providing verification management ensuring on-time execution and verification closure
Support leadership and assist the SE&I team by setting goals, organizing, and delivering products through collaborative efforts
Communicating project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership
Implementing and maintaining agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle
Perform additional job duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience
BS Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or related field required (MS preferred)
8+ years’ experience and corresponding expertise in the execution and leadership of Systems Engineering and Integration activities and functions
Experience in EVA design, development, operations, and/or testing domains
Experience in the development of Space Systems following the Systems Engineering development lifecycle, including stakeholder requirements, technical requirements analysis and decomposition, system architectures, technical performance measures, and verification and validation planning and execution
Experience with Space Suits preferred
Experience in planning and executing system testing
INCOSE Certification preferred
Track record of delivering outcomes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Uses good judgement to problem-solve proactively, positively impacting hard challenges
Proven to deliver high quality results under tight deadlines

Requirements
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation
Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet critical project milestones
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time)
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of the time)
