
Finance | Business Administration internship: global manufacturing
Job Description
Introduction
The Global Manufacturing team within Business Insights & Control supports all ASML factories worldwide with clear and reliable financial management information. Our team helps the organization understand factory performance and make informed decisions. As ASML evolves in a fast-changing environment, the need for timely insights and new technology grows rapidly. This internship plays an important role in helping us modernize our ways of working, including exploring solutions powered by artificial intelligence. You will support the team as we make our processes more efficient and future‑ready.
Your assignment
You will help drive the change portfolio of the Global Manufacturing team. You will identify opportunities to simplify processes, explore improvement options, and design solutions that increase the speed and quality of our information delivery. You will do this together with team members across the Finance organization. Your work may include process optimization or introducing new technologies that improve our daily operations.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Identify improvement opportunities within existing financial processes.
Analyze current ways of working and propose clear, structured solutions.
Support the design and implementation of process improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and collect feedback.
Help introduce new tools and technologies into daily workflows.
Document process changes to ensure knowledge sharing.
Contribute to change initiatives using Lean, project management, and change management methods.
This is a non‑thesis internship with a duration of minimum of 6 months, starting in early June 2026.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
Have strong analytical and process‑oriented thinking skills.
Feel comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment.
Enjoy engaging with different stakeholders and building positive connections.
Bring a proactive, hands‑on, and collaborative mindset.
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
