Job Description
Introduction
The EUV Factory is responsible for producing and installing ASML’s advanced EUV systems up to the Site Acceptance Test at customer locations. The Manufacturing Program Management team is responsible for New Product Introductions as well as managing Cycle Time- and Cost targets. In order to do this effectively we use several processes, some officially documented, some became part of our daily work through experience. We want to get a better understanding about what processes are running, with what goals and the effectiveness of these processes.
Your assignment
This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore the organization which manufactures one of the most complex machines in the world. Discover how our team operates and take the opportunity to improve our way of working. Your main responsibilities will be:
Map the formal and informal processes used within the EF Manufacturing Program Management team.
Create a stakeholder map to identify which groups are impacted by these processes.
Assess the effectiveness of current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Document findings in a clear and structured way.
Present outcomes and recommendations to the team.
Support the team in translating improvement proposals into actionable next steps.
This is a bachelor’s or master’s non‑thesis internship for a minimum of 3 months, 3–5 days per week (60% on‑site). The start date of this internship is projected at the end of August 2026. An earlier start is possible.
Your profile
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or related.
Have affinity with working in a technical environment
Communicate clearly and enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Are collaborative, proactive, and comfortable engaging with others in a dynamic environment.
Have strong analytical thinking skills and can work from a high‑level perspective when needed.
Other requirements you need to meet
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
