In order to support the wing systems installation department Airbus Operations GmbH is looking for a
Lead Electrical Installation Design Engineer (d/f/m)
Be part of an exciting team that manages the complete wing electrical design for all aircraft programs, including cutting-edge R&T projects. As part of the Electrical Systems Installation (ESI) team, you will interface with various disciplines such as structures and other systems, providing an excellent opportunity to build a broad professional network. Your tasks and responsibilities
Lead electrical projects from concept to embodiment and in-service, including design reviews and DFM (design for manufacture) phases.
Integrate ESI with airframe structures and other aircraft systems.
Analyze and validate design requirements, negotiating deviations with stakeholders when necessary.
Approve/authorize technical documents for ESI and Installation definition perimeters.
Validate electric installation configuration documents based on functional inputs.
Support production through design/works query notes (DQN/WQN) embodiment and customer services via technical requests.
Ensure all activities align with applicable design processes, rules, and compliance risks.
Desired skills and qualifications
Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Several years of relevant experience in all aircraft development phases, from conceptual design to operational support.
In-depth knowledge of wing or airframe development, including V&V and build support.
ATA92 signature approval authorization or the demonstrated ability to achieve it.
Strong technical analytical skills combined with quick learning and an innovative and proactive mindset.
