Data and Connectivity System Engineer H/F

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Data and connectivity system engineer (F/M) to join our Connectivity and Data system department  based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing systems to collect data onboard, process it and send it from aircraft to ground. As part of the system designer team, you will be involved in designing embedded systems, but also ground systems aiming at supplying high throughput transmission capabilities to allow.

Your challenges :

• Lead the definition and the design of systems fulfilling certification requirements but also taking advantage of latest technologies to reach a quick go to market.

• Become a referent and be able to lead a sub-part of a project, involving several colleagues across Airbus organizations in a transnational environment.

• Understand Customer needs and ensure compliance of the system with customer expectations

Your boarding pass :

• You are an engineer with a proven experience of more than 10 years in network, telecommunications, IT, data processing, embedded systems.

• You know the main drivers to design both hardware and software efficient solutions

• You have a good knowledge of telecommunications systems (cellular, point to point, wired, satcom, WiFi, …) 

• You are always curious to learn, enthusiastic to solve new challenges.

• You demonstrate soft skills to lead a small team of engineers in a transnational environment
