MiraDx

MiraDX was founded by Joanne Weidhaas, M.D., Ph.D. and Frank Slack, Ph.D., whose cutting-edge genetic research has unveiled a new class of genetic biomarkers, based on microRNA biology. Our mission is to apply these novel biomarkers to improve personalized cancer treatment. We have been applying these biomarkers to better direct cancer treatments, including radiation, chemotherapy, and newly developing immune therapies. We are able to apply our biomarkers to the daunting problem of toxicity from treatment, which no other set of biomarkers has been able to do. Through worldwide collaborations MiraDX has advanced this class of biomarkers to the forefront of personalized therapy, and has numerous collaborations across both academic and industry.
