Job Description
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Global Payments Experiences group is an organization focused on bringing new and novel payment methods to Stripe, and ensuring Stripe’s systems work well for merchants globally. This team works with internal and external partners to expand regional, non-card payment options, and to expand the use of Stripe’s payments processing globally.
What you’ll do
This is a Sao Paulo-based team, with platform teams in the US and Europe and sister teams worldwide. This team in particular will build and maintain new payment methods for Stripe, with a focus on LATAM and North America. They will manage local market idiosyncrasies, become regional experts that other Stripe teams will rely on, and partner with many non-tech functions at Stripe to expand our global reach and product portfolio.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, partnerships, eng platforms, and other engineering teams to deliver these solutions
- Recruit top engineering talent in partnership with Stripe’s recruiting team to build a diverse and high-performing team
- Lead engineering and design processes, and coaching, mentoring, and supporting your team as they build innovative, user-facing solutions
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
