Legal Associate

We are looking for an In-House Legal expert with a specialization in Indian Real Estate to join our team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to produce impartial and detailed legal opinions regarding real estate matters. This includes advising on leases, transfers of title, title examination, title insurance and related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor changes in relevant legislation and keep abreast of regulatory developments that may affect the organization
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on real estate related contracts
• Engage in dispute resolution processes
• Liaise with clients and external counsels on legal matters
• Research and provide advice on Indian real estate law as needed
• Conduct due diligence investigations and provide reports
• Track and manage various cases through completion of all necessary paperwork

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law from a reputed institution
• 1+ years' experience working with Indian real estate law is mandatory
• Proven track record of successfully navigating real estate transactions
• Excellent research, analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
