A bit about this role: 


The Manager, Practice Operations serves as the critical bridge between cutting-edge AI technology, compliance quality, and robust operational execution. In this role, you will serve as the operational architect for scaling initiatives within Practice Operations.  You will balance the oversight of daily compliance and healthcare quality metrics with the governance of advanced LLM (Large Language Model) operations, ensuring that automation scales safely, efficiently, and in strict alignment with regulatory standards.

This position requires a unique blend of tech-savvy operational leadership, data-driven acumen, and a deep commitment to clinical risk mitigation.


Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:

  • Scaling / AI Initiatives

    • Identify agentic opportunities and serve as the architect for scaling initiatives across Practice Operations

    • Build (in partnership with Sr Mgr, Practice Operations) agentic solutions and manage evaluations and feedback 

  • Compliance Escalation Oversight & Management: Serve as the high-level escalation backstop for other compliance initiatives; includes retroactive data pulls & research for compliance issues or audits, as well as compliance misses for Corrective Action Plans

    • Identifying trends in compliance risks for Devoted Medical and create action plans to support risks identified

  • AI Governance

    • Risk Assessment: Conduct, in partnership with the Senior Manager, Practice Operations, formal milestone validations prior to transitioning projects to "Beta" or "GA" to ensure accurate risk classification based on use cases.

    • Risk Management on Changes: if the risk changes for a project due to expansion of users. This position would review and develop tools for oversight that if new users are added to a project the risk is reviewed and verified.

  • Offshore / AHS Oversight: Oversight of monthly SLAs for all Devoted Medical <> AHS workstreams; report on trends through Monday metrics and sync with business owners as needed. Ownership of AHS MGPE (quality) reporting; compliance reporting monthly.

  • KPI Oversight: Focus on trends and deficiencies in KPI and MGPE metrics for Devoted Medical (Practice Policy Adherence - including results management/prescriptions/inbox management), Compliance Index, etc)

  • Sprint Support (ad hoc): Support sprint processes where needed to ensure compliance risks are flagged early on in new initiatives 


Required skills and experience: 

  • 5+ years in healthcare operations, quality management, or tech-enabled clinical services, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.


Desired skills and experience: 

  • People Leadership & Scaling: Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale operational teams within a fast-growing or highly automated environment.

  • Clinical Expertise & Patient Safety: Deep understanding of healthcare quality standards, clinical risk mitigation, and acute escalation protocols. 

  • Tech-Savvy & AI/LLM Fluency: Comfortable leveraging and managing LLM-driven scoring tools, validator tech, prompt adjustments, and guiding the evolution of automated outputs. 

  • Data-Driven Strategy: Ability to transform raw, aggregated quality metrics into longitudinal trend analyses, proactive performance recovery plans, and executive-level reporting.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional partnership skills to seamlessly bridge the gap between Data/Tech, Training/Clinical Excellence, and Frontline Leadership.

  • Agility & Communication: Highly adaptive to scaling programs in dynamic environments; able to communicate critical system delays or urgent safety metrics with clarity and urgency.


Salary range: $73,000 - $125,000 annually


The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
