Role Overview

As an AI Engineering Intern, you’ll work on Clara, Clinikally’s multi-agent AI platform for dermatology and haircare.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and improving production-grade AI systems not toy demos.

What You’ll Work On

•        Build and improve specialized AI agents within Clara’s 7-agent architecture 

•        Enhance agent routing, orchestration, and multi-agent workflows 

•        Design agent handoffs, fallback logic, and multi-step reasoning flows 

•        Improve the hybrid RAG pipeline using Pinecone for 15,000+ product SKUs 

•        Add multimodal features like image classification, OCR, and vision-based diagnosis flows 

•        Contribute to evaluation systems including latency tracking, prompt versioning, and testing frameworks 

•        Help build doctor-feedback learning loops for future model training (DPO/SFT pipelines) 

Must-Have Skills

•        Strong Python fundamentals with experience using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.) 

•        Understanding of LLM agents, tool calling, routing, and structured outputs 

•        Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows 

Strong Plus

•        Experience with multi-agent frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or custom orchestration systems 

•        Knowledge of agent patterns such as ReAct, tool-calling, and multi-step planning 

•        Experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma, etc.) 

•        Prompt engineering and LLM evaluation experience 

Nice to Have

•        React / Next.js 

•        FastAPI, Docker, or Redis
