About the Role

At Bemlo, we’re revolutionizing how healthcare providers manage scheduling and staffing challenges. By leveraging the latest in generative AI, we automate large parts of our customers’ workflows, freeing up time for them to focus on quality of care and meaningful change.

We’re now looking for a smart and passionate Fullstack Engineers help us build and polish Bemlo.

At Bemlo, you'll have incredible leverage to directly improve the lives of healthcare workers. Your code will give thousands of nurses, carers, and doctors more time with patients and healthier work lives.

What you will do

• Design and build intuitive software that make complex scheduling workflows feel effortless for healthcare professionals.
• Obsess over user interactions, ensuring every click saves time for busy nurses and administrators.
• Transform customer feedback into delightful solutions that actually solve real workflow problems.
• Create reusable components that maintain consistency while adapting to diverse healthcare contexts.
• Work directly with customer support to understand pain points and ship improvements that users will notice and appreciate.
• Integrate AI functionality to increase user experience rather than company pitch decks.

Who you are

• Experienced in Typescript, React, Node.
• Have launched a project, OSS, product, or startup before.
• Wants to design and build high quality software, not vibe-code churn-ware.
• Excited by fast-paced startup environments, not bureaucracy.
• Educational or professional background in computer science / engineering.
• Solution-oriented with a passion for deeply understanding niche problems.
• Collaborative by nature, with a passion for user-centered innovation.
• Fluency in Swedish is a big plus as our customers are usually uncomfortable with English.
• Interested/experience in optimization.

Location

We believe the best ideas come when we work together. This is a full-time role based in Stockholm and we expect to see you in the office 2-5 days a week with flexibility to work remotely for longer periods every now and then.

Interview Process

Interview process:

1. Introduction Call: A 20-30 minute introduction call with one of our co-founders. This call is a chance for us to learn more about each other and for you to gain insights into Bemlo's mission and culture.
2. Technical Interview: Engage in a session hosted by our founding engineer and a co-founder, lasting about 1-2 hours. This interview will involve live coding exercises and discussions to assess your technical and problem-solving skills.
3. Product Workshop: In this discussion with a co-founder, you'll talk about a product that inspires you and any personal projects you've been involved in. It's a chance to explore your product vision and innovative ideas.
4. Trial Work Day: Finally, we organize a paid trial work day at Bemlo. This gives you a real taste of our work and team dynamics. By day's end, we aim to make you an offer, wrapping up your firsthand experience with our team and projects.
