Job Description

About Bemlo

Bemlo is a comprehensive AI-powered workforce management platform, purpose-built for healthcare and social care. At its core is automated scheduling that generates optimal rosters—meeting care demands while respecting staff preferences.

Backed by top-tier investors from Silicon Valley, Bemlo has quickly established a strong presence in Sweden’s public sector. Today, we serve 8 of Sweden’s regions and a rapidly growing number of municipalities.

We’re a small but passionate, smart, and fast-moving team, driven by a commitment to delivering innovative solutions and outstanding customer service.

About the Role

At Bemlo, we’re revolutionizing how healthcare providers manage scheduling and staffing challenges. By leveraging the latest in generative AI, we automate large parts of our customers’ workflows—freeing up time for them to focus on quality of care and meaningful change.

We’re now looking for a smart and ambitious Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the implementation of Bemlo for new customers.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll lead rollout projects, act as the primary point of contact during onboarding, and play a key role in both product and business development at Bemlo.

What you will do

  • Own implementation projects from signed contract to full rollout across the customer’s organization.
  • Drive product development in close collaboration with developers and existing customers.
  • Work hands-on with customers to understand their workflows, identify high-value use cases, and position Bemlo as the obvious solution.
  • Develop and refine strategies for faster, smoother onboarding of new customers.

Who you are

  • Educational or professional background in engineering.
  • Solution-oriented with a passion for deeply understanding niche problems.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition - ideally with dreams of starting your own company in the future.
  • Excited by fast-paced startup environments where you help write the playbook, not just follow it.
  • Collaborative by nature, with a passion for user-centered innovation.
  • Fluent in Swedish.
  • Holds a valid driver's license.
  • Outgoing and service-minded.

Location

We believe the best ideas come when we work together. This is a full-time role based in Stockholm. The position includes some travel to customers across Sweden for meetings and collaboration.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to drive the implementation of generative AI within the public sector and healthcare.
  • Close collaboration with the company’s founders and leadership teams at our customer organizations — your work will matter from day one.
  • Competitive salary and a transparent, generous stock option program.
  • A chance to help shape a category-defining company.

We’re just at the beginning of our journey to become the market-leading scheduling and workforce management platform. The deals are big, demand is high, and the opportunity to shape the use of generative AI in healthcare is wide open.
