The Multi-Domain Assured Navigation & Timing Applications (MANTA) group within the Mission Critical Products organization is hiring an Systems Integration and Test Engineer to join our Maritime PNT organization in support of the Global Positioning System (GPS)-Based Positioning, Navigation and Timing Service (GPNTS) program. The Maritime PNT organization is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines to shape innovative solutions for our US Navy customer.

What You Will Do
   • Support verification and traceability of system requirements 
   • Develop verification test procedures and execute procedures in a secure lab
   • Conduct peer reviews on test procedures & design documentation 
   • Collaborate across teams on program goals 
   • Coordinate communication and status to relevant stakeholders 
   • Own the development of your design approach through collaboration with subject matter experts 
   • Drive resolution for technical issues through problem-solving and coordination across impacted teams 
   • Opportunity to improve our approaches through sharing lessons learned with the team and department 

Qualifications You Must Have
   • Experience with System Integration and Test
   • Experience with Special Test Equipment (STE)
   • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
   • Active and transferable SECRET clearance is required prior to start date
   • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer
   • Understanding of system engineering processes 
   • Prior experience in GPS and/or Antenna Electronics development  
   • Experience with troubleshooting integration issues including root-cause analysis

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
