Job Description
About the role
We're looking for a Founder's Associate to work directly with the founding team. You'll start by taking small, high-impact tasks off the founding team's plate, but the goal is for you to graduate fast into owning projects - and eventually a whole function - across operations, finance, growth, marketing, sales, and support.
A business generalist who does the small things well and grows into running parts of the company. The strongest person in this role moves toward owning a whole function or becoming Chief of Staff.
What your day looks like
You get a list of priorities, clarify missing context fast, execute, and send short status updates. Lots of coordination, follow-up, and closing loops. Minimal theory. As you earn trust, more of your week shifts from execution to ownership.
What you'll own
Early on:
- Take day-to-day tasks off the founding team's plate and drive them start to finish
- Own follow-ups across threads: reminders, nudges, deadlines, clear ownership
- Delegate simple tasks to teammates and make sure they come back with outcomes
- Quick research: tool comparisons, vendor outreach, quotes, contact lists, simple analyses
- Keep Notion, Google Drive, and Slack organized; write short summaries
- Coordinate hiring, onboarding, docs, checklists, SOPs
- Calendars, agendas, notes - whatever unblocks the founding team
As you earn scope:
- Own end-to-end projects across any business function
- Build the systems and processes the company is missing
- Step in as interim owner of a function until it's stood up or hired for
- Run analyses that inform decisions
Who you are
- Extremely organized, fast, and detail-oriented
- Strong, direct writer; comfortable pushing follow-ups and chasing outcomes
- Operate well with incomplete information and ask the right questions quickly
- Generalist instincts - you can pick up a finance task one day and a growth experiment the next
- Bias to action; you enjoy checklists and closing loops
- Comfortable in startup chaos, not discouraged by it
- English C1 (B2 minimum)
What matters most
- Ownership, even on simple tasks
- Speed and on-time delivery
- Crisp communication and short status updates
- When something is blocked, you flag it early and bring options - no "reasons why"
What we offer
- Work directly with the founding team and learn fast
- Direct impact on how the company operates day to day
- High-trust, high-responsibility environment
- Competitive compensation
- A clear path to Ops, a function-owner role, or Chief of Staff
