Job Description
We're looking for a sharp, strategic, and execution-focused Senior Growth Lead to own the growth trajectory of our Pet insurance business on a 6-month mat-leave basis. You'll translate company objectives into actionable plans, define and execute the growth strategy, and lead a cross-functional squad to unlock our next stage of performance.
You'll sit at the intersection of marketing, product, and business, bringing together teams, data, and channels to drive impact. As the senior growth leader for Pet, you'll shape the roadmap for your domain and serve as a key member of our broader growth and company leadership — at a pivotal moment for the business.
We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.
Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.
In this role you'll:
Execute and evolve the Pet Insurance growth strategy, balancing short- and long-term objectives and keeping it aligned with company-wide priorities
Translate that strategy into a clear, executable growth plan using paid and non-paid channels, lifecycle marketing, partnerships, and more
Develop and expand new distribution channels, including partner and veterinary relationships, to unlock incremental growth
Own the key business metrics and growth objectives for Pet
Lead the go-to-market strategy for new launches, campaigns, and initiatives, including segmentation, channel mix, messaging, and marketing planning
Serve as the growth lead for the Pet squad, collaborating closely with performance marketers, product managers, analysts, and content marketers to ship impactful initiatives
Influence and shape broader company strategy and planning through your work, insights, and leadership
Be a thought partner to senior stakeholders, making the complex simple and backing your recommendations with clear analysis and conviction
What you'll need:
7+ years in growth, performance marketing, product, or strategy roles, with a focus on owning and scaling a key product or business line
Proven track record driving measurable growth via paid and non-paid channels, with strong business acumen across acquisition, CAC, LTV, and retention
Experience working on a D2C product in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment, with comfort navigating complex, regulated industries (insurance or fintech experience is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to set a strategic vision and break it into concrete goals, experiments, and roadmaps
High fluency in data, able to interrogate dashboards, run analysis, and partner with analysts to uncover insights and make decisions
Experience leading cross-functional teams or pods, setting priorities, aligning stakeholders, and driving high-velocity output
Excellent communication skills — you can navigate tough conversations, influence stakeholders, and represent your team at all levels of the org
Ability to work in an office environment most days of the week
Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
